A successful artist talk and demo yesterday at Cradle of Hills winery as part of the Inkaparinga Shimmer photography festival.

Shooting live on location to show the methods and madness of the style of shooting for my series “L U C I D”

A question and answer session as we went. I hope everyone gained something, from a new techniques to just being inspired to create new things

Thank you to my lovely model Annika, who was a dream to work with! One thing about working with other artists, is that they have vision. (I can’t wait to check out your own work soon)

Here’s a few images that happened

Thanks everyone! ✌🏻️👽

Story time- yesterday I started heading to the beach, boards packed, waves enticing…. Then I pulled in to a servo to fill up. Who do I see? My good mate and fellow photographer @lee_knowles_photographer whose beloved Kombi Van had broken down. Engine seized. Not good…. I asked if he needed a lift, turned out he was on his way to his Shimmer exhibition at Sellicks where he was demonstrating how he shoots his work. I took him to the winery and helped set up, then thought I'd stay for a while to watch him in action. It was very inspiring! His model Annika could play the piano beautifully so I took some footage of them working together and recorded her playing. Wow! No surf for me, I ended up staying the whole time! All the images are Lee's at the end of the video. Tap to listen to music!
